Winter Family/Teacher Conferences
You are invited to participate in our Fall Family Conferences from February 27 - March 10th. Conferences will be held either in-person or through Zoom. This is a time for you, the classroom teacher, and other support staff to discuss your child's academic growth, social/emotional needs, and other celebrations or needs. We look for 100% participation from our community and encourage you to work with your child's teacher to schedule a time to reflect on the 1st trimester together.
Below, you will find links to your child's classroom teacher, along with other support staff. Each teacher has one time slot available per student. We kindly ask that no matter how your family looks, each student has one time slot. This is important so all caretakers can hear and discuss topics together.
We look forward to a great Family Conference season!

DESIGN LAB NEWS MRS. LEMBECK
Minecraft.edu has been added to student Ipads in grades 3, 4, & 5. We will be using this platform in our Design Lab. We are constantly searching for engaging and fun ways to work with our students in the areas of critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. It is my belief that Minecraft Education Edition offers an effective way to practice these concepts within several curriculum areas, especially computer science (coding). Since introducing this game, students have really caught on and love using this. I have reviewed MINECRAFT expectations with students. Students are to ask permission before spending time on the platform. These same expectations can apply at home so that screen time and any/all collaboration with other students can be monitored, if families wish! Please ask your student about these expectations!
I agree with this quote from the website that shares many benefits of this gaming platform... "As far as non-violent, educational games go, Minecraft is arguably one of the best. It can teach kids the fundamentals of programming skills, teamwork, problem-solving, project management, and offers a fantastic environment to foster creativity and “out of the box” thinking."
Morning Drop Off Reminders:
- Walkers: If your student walks, please know they can not enter the building until 8:40. Please do not drop your student off alone to play on the playground or stand outside the building. This is a safety concern as there are no staff members outside to monitor students.
- Car Riders: Before your student exits the car, please make sure you have pulled your car as far as you can down the side of the building. This ensures a faster drop off line for everyone! There are plenty of staff members who will ensure your student gets safely into the building.
- Musick Road: Please do not drop your student off directly on Musick Road in front of the crosswalk. This is a huge safety concern for all!
