RMS Report Cards
We are excited to announce that moving forward we will be delivering report cards electronically for our students in grades 7-12. Report cards will no longer be mailed home.
Your student’s grades will be accessible in your secure PowerSchool Parent Portal account at the end of the school year.
The decision to transition to electronic report cards was made for several reasons. First, the district is committed to reducing the amount of paper we use. Also, this will allow families immediate access to final grades as soon as they are posted. Finally, there is a significant amount of time and resources spent on printing and mailing report cards, and a number of them end up returned to us because we don’t have the most up-to-date address on file.
We will send additional communication when grades are available in June.
If you do not have a Parent Portal account set up at this time, a separate email has been sent with instructions to create one.
The acceptable use student and parent agreement form links for 2022-2023 school year
Dear Current 6th and 7th Grade Families:
For the 2022-2023 school year, your child will receive a MacBook to support the instructional work done in our classrooms. Each student (Grades 7-12) will be given a MacBook and protective case to use throughout the school year. This will replace the iPads at Richards Middle School.
In order for your student to use the device at home and at school, we are asking you to complete the Acceptable Use Student and Parent Agreement Form.

21-22 Yearbook Update

If you are interested in reserving one of the extra yearbooks, please contact Mrs. Murray via email: wendy.murray@fraserk12.org. Otherwise, the extra yearbooks will be sold on the last couple days of school.
End of the Year student reminders for cell phones and dress code
Cell Phone Policy Reminders
We need our families continued support to limit distractions and disruptions to the school day. Please be sure to review the Cell Phone policy attached and continue to monitor your child's phone and social media accounts, as well as remind your child of our cell phone expectations during the school day. Students must come to the office to call home to parents/guardians if they are ill and need to go home.
Dress Code Reminders
May's weather seem to be getting warmer and more summer-like. This is a good time to remind our families and students about how we want our knights to dress for school success. While we want to respect students' individual styles, we also need to make sure that we are maintaining a school environment that allows our focus to remain on learning.
Please remind your Knight to keep the following in mind as they dress for school:
- Undergarments should not be visible.
- Shorts/skirts need to be near the appropriate length within the guidelines of the code of conduct.
- Stomachs must be covered.
- Shirts should not be revealing or sleeves cut off. Shirt straps should be about 3-fingers wide.
For more information about specific guidelines for our FPS Dress Code, please see our Fraser Public Schools Code of Conduct.

Second Step Week 19 Focus
7th Grade Week 19- Advice on Roadblocks to 6th graders
Summary- In this week’s lesson, your 7th grade knights will put their knowledge about overcoming roadblocks into action by giving advice to a sixth-grader who is struggling to learn something new.
At home question to ask your 7th Grade Knight- Tell your Knight about a time you had to try something new to overcome a roadblock, such as asking someone for help or looking at a problem with a different viewpoint. Tell your knight what eventually helped you overcome that roadblock.
8th Grade Week 19- High School Challenges
Summary- In this week’s lesson, our 8th grade knight will think ahead to some of the challenges they might face when starting high school and identify people they can go to for help.
At home question to ask your 8th grade Knight- Ask your 8th grade knight about something that makes them nervous about starting high school. Share one thing you were nervous about when you first started high school, but that got better over time.
