About this Non-profit

Come to the neighborhood center in Camden and help children and teens by donating. You can donate money, or just your time. The Neighborhood center was founded in 1913 by a group of people who were concerned about poverty of young children. Over time, it has grown and now children come to participate in school, sports, daycare, and art activitys. Children from ages 2 months - 5 years come to the child care and learning center from 7:30-6:00 pm. In addition, kids can go there after school to finish homework, participate in sports, and participate in theater and music programs. If you are interested in volunteering your time, you can come for a day, week, or on a regular basis.

Come and Volunteer!

If you are interested in volunteering your time at the Neighborhood center, you can come for a day, a week, or on a regular schedule. Volunteers are a big reason why this non-profit can do what it does. They serve in the kitchen, read to day care children, and tutor children. They also help out by doing the cleaning and working on the outside of the building. If you choose to help us, please contact the volunteer coordinator, at 856-365-5295 or by email at Thank you!
