Dear Colleague,
My thoughts remain with you and your school communities during this difficult time. I'm writing to share important information about the 2020 College Board Counselor Workshops.
As much as I hoped we could continue with the tradition of in-person workshops, due to the public health situation we've made the difficult decision to move all counselor workshops online for 2020. Since 1971, we've had the privilege of meeting with thousands of counselors and educators from across the country at our annual in-person Counselor Workshops series. These events provide counselors with College Board program updates and resources to help students, and allow us to connect with colleagues like you.
Though we can't meet face to face, I’m confident you'll still receive an enriching experience to prepare you for the 2020-21 school year. For many years we've been offering quality online professional development to counselors, including condensed workshop events. This year, we'll expand on our online offerings to provide important College Board updates and state-focused webinar options.
In the coming weeks, we'll let you know when registration opens for the 2020 online Counselor Workshops. In the meantime, be sure to register for the 2020 Counselor Summer Institute, August 4–7, our free, online professional development event focusing on college admissions. For the latest information on the coronavirus, visit our updates for counselors website.
I look forward to when we can be together in person again.
Sincerely,
Lorraine Hastings
