Curriculum Updates

This year, we will be sharing information about what children are doing in their classrooms via monthly curriculum updates. These updates will be shared via the Friday Folder and, in the future, on our website. See below for links to September's curriculum updates and be sure to keep an eye out for new links each month.

The work of the committees at United Friends School is essential to the vitality of the school and helps to maintain the close school-family connection. UFS relies on volunteers to help keep tuition affordable; please sign up to serve on a committee (5-6 meetings per year). United Friends was founded on the principle that parent involvement in our children’s education is important and required. Thank you in advance for your enthusiasm and commitment. A staff member, trustee, or committee representative will contact you.

We ask that each parent/guardian fill out a separate form and that each person complete a new form each school year. If you have already completed one for this year, thank you!

You can pick up a paper form at the Front Office, or click on this link for an online version. Contact Jacquie in the Front Office with any questions.

Joint Meeting for Worship

Please join us on Sunday, November 6th at United Friends School for our annual Joint Meeting for Worship. Families from the UFS community will be joined by members from Richland, Unami, Doylestown, Gwynedd, and Lehigh Valley Monthly Meetings for Meeting for Worship at 10:30 in the Big Room. You are ALL welcome……adults, children, babies.

This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in a Friends’ Meeting for Worship and to gain a deeper understanding of this very important practice in our school. Children are invited to participate in First Day School activities (Sunday school). They will join us in Meeting for Worship for the last 15 minutes of Meeting (11:15). If your child doesn’t want to separate, that’s okay too.

Following Meeting, you are invited to join us for a potluck lunch.
