LLS Fundraiser for Sophia #shineforsophia
Longbranch is raising money in honor of Sophia Kappen, our friend. Sophia fought a hard battle with cancer last school year and although Sophia is no longer with us, cancer never wins. Students have organized several fundraisers in honor of Sophia that will be occurring during the next two months.
1. April 29th will be Purple and Orange Day in honor of Sophia. We will sell Kona Ice on this day and 50% of the profits will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
2. Olivia and Kendall, two of Sophia's friends, will be collecting monetary donations the week of May 2nd and will donate all profits in Sophia's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Every student who donates will fill out a paper blood drop that will hang in our school.
3. You can kick us off now by donating online in Sophia's name here: http://pages.mwoy.org/soh/cincy18/shineforsophia

Yearbook Photos
We still need a lot of photos for our 2017-18 Longbranch Yearbook.
Our yearbook coordinator cannot be at all the awesome events that go on with our students throughout the year and needs your help in making sure we get a large variety of kids and activities included in the book!
You can upload your photos for consideration in the yearbook at community.lifetouch.com and entering our school’s access code: XJFDJE.
Please submit photos that are at least 300 dpi to ensure acceptable print quality for the yearbook.
Note: Photos from social media websites may not be acceptable quality. Please consider this when uploading images.
You can also email photos to the email address below if that is easier. Just make sure to put the grades of the children and the event (if applicable) in your email.
Any questions, contact Rachel Pearson at communications.longbranchpto@gmail.com.

Kroger Cards Help Generate BIG MONEY for Our School
Kroger donates 4% of all money you spend after you scan your Kroger Plus card as long as you connect the Plus card to our Longbranch PTA account.
If 400 families connected their cards and spent $100 a week at Kroger, each family would make $4 per week. That's $1600 a week. That's $19,000 a quarter. That's unreal. That's plain and simple easy money.
We encourage you to visit Kroger.com and create an account. Click Community Rewards. Search for Longbranch and connect your plus card with Longbranch PTA. It's the EASIEST fundraiser you'll ever participate in, period.
