Ross Round Up

Engage. Empower. Educate. Every Day.

January 27, 2023

Hi families!

We wrap up our focus on Leadership this month with a whole-school activity planned by Ross CAST Student Leaders. They got together on Thursday to plan the activity that all students will be able to participate in on Tuesday, Jan. 31 during lunch recess. See the flier below.

These 30 5th graders collaborated in a beautiful way together to make this activity possible for all our kids. Check them out in action in this YouTube video!

On Wednesday, we start our focus on Compassion, just in time for Valentine's Day. Students will be able to fill out leaves for our Compassion Tree to share stories of friends and Ross staff that showed Compassion. We love to help students look for the moments of love and caring all around them in the world--there's so much good out there to focus on. Compassion is all about seeing it and celebrating it.

Let us know what moments of Compassion you've seen in the Ross community from students, teachers, or other families by emailing to potentially be featured on our Facebook page this month.

Excusing Students from School

Parents, please remember to call the school in the morning at 208-922-1011 and let us know when your student will be absent. It helps us to know that they're OK when they're missing from school.

Pick Up Line Safety

Please make sure to get in the pick up line to pick up your student after school. That allows us to make sure that students are going home with parent-approved people. Thank you!
