Panther Pause

Celebrating 20 Years of Excellence

Dear Parents and Students,

Next week marks the end of the semester and the end of the year. Our students will be busy completing finals before starting their much earned break, and I want to ask each of you to keep some of our CHHS families in your thoughts. Several of our students lost their homes to a fire this past weekend, and that is a real tragedy; especially this time of year. When events like this occur, it reminds me of how very blessed we are to be in this community. There has been an enormous outpour of support for our students and their families that were impacted by this fire. If you choose to help or support these families, please contact Robin Davis in our counseling department at, and she can help direct your support. Again, we are grateful for the amazing students we have at CHHS. Please enjoy the weekend.

Thank you,

Conrad Streeter

How has your participation in an extracurricular program positively impacted your experience at CHHS?

Involvement in a multitude of extracurricular activities has allowed me to learn important time management skills that will benefit me both during and after my education. As an active member of PALS, Varsity Cheer, and Red Jackets, finding time for schoolwork can be challenging. However, my experience at CHHS will help shape important study habits that I can carry with me throughout my future.

Euless Fire

On December 5th, an apartment fire in Euless destroyed the homes and belongings of a dozen students attending Bear Creek Elementary, Heritage Middle School, and Colleyville Heritage High School. To assist, GCISD is partnering with CONNECT to collect gift card donations from retailers such as Wal-Mart or Target to help provide immediate resources to these children and their families.

If you would like to make a gift card donation, please drop it off with counselors at BCES, HMS or CHHS. Monetary donations are being accepted online through the Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation by clicking here. Include a note in your online donation that the funds are for CONNECT-Euless Fire.
