Monday Memo
"You Rock, We Rock, #Plattinrocks!"
Communication is Key
Items to keep in mind during the weeks of 3/26-4/6
1. Thank you for all the support and preparations for Bingo. I have to say the night was a success. I think next year we will have to look into a new venue. Our numbers were absolutely amazing, I know we had 5 total people not show up who were prepaid. Then the door had at least 10 families that paid at the door. This can not be done without all of your help-from the baskets to the tear down; it takes all of us. I email you later a total of revenue generated.
This morning is the volunteer breakfast at the HS, as of Friday Mr. Johnston said we have 26 confirmed for the day. If you have had a parent volunteer in your room please send a quick note home thanking them.
No official word on food for Wednesday--we have chips and candy left over from Bingo that can be a part of the snack cart.
2. Once again I'd like to welcome Amanda Bley to 1st grade, and Brandi Smith to Kdg for the 2018-19 school year.
3. Tuesday please wear your B3 shirts with your jeans. Everyone should have their shirts in your mailbox if you did not take it home on Friday. Special teachers yours are with Telegraph.
4. Please send me photos if you attended Bingo or the Easter Egg Hunt, I would like to share them with Ms. Wallace.
5. There are a few conferences taking place in my office on Tuesday as well as Wednesday.
6. Wednesday is Early Dismissal via intercom-Buddy Lunch schedule was sent last week.
Mr. Shininger will be a WatchDog today--I will send a schedule Monday afternoon.
7. Several positive comments on Kdg registration, I think it ran very smoothly. We did have a few sick kids so they will be in throughout the next few weeks to be screened.
8. Mrs. Glass' class continues to be the High Fliers this week.
9. No School March 29-April 2. Enjoy the break!
10. I would like to request grade levels to communicate with each other the end of the year countdown, in order to make it easier let's all try to do the same themes/days etc.
Kdg-Does a ballon pop each morning with a fun activity, first grade likes this idea as well, second grade feedback for Tuesday please.
11. If the weather is NICE March 28th we are going to Hip Hop out of here for Spring Break--See me if you'd like to participate in our morning fun.
