McHenry High School District 156
Nov. 25, 2020
An important message from Dr. McTague
Dear Warrior Family,
I wanted to take a moment and wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving. I feel blessed and thankful for our strong, resilient, and compassionate school community. It seems like we have faced one challenge after another this school year. However, I do believe that brighter days are in our immediate future and we will emerge from this pandemic stronger than ever. I look forward to the day that we will all be together again walking the halls of our school buildings.
At MCHS, we remain “Focused on the Future” as we continue to make preparations for our campus shift next fall. Construction of the new Center for Science, Technology, and Industry is on schedule for completion at the end of January. I would like to invite you to our Livestream event on Dec. 8 to discuss our campus transition, facility improvements, and ongoing construction. No matter the challenge or adversity our school community may face we are always stronger together as ONE - One School, One Community, and One Family. On behalf of the staff, administration, and school board of District 156 I want to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving and a restful break.
Thank you for your continued support!
