Need a window decal for your car...
Hello Vikings! I have opened an Etsy store selling window decals to promote school spirit for our Lago Vista Vikings. Each decal has a detailed description along with the option to personalize it. I figured this would make things easier on everyone because if your kid is like mine the order form will never make it home.
All you have to do is go on to www.etsy.com then enter LV Flightline in the search engine. When you get to the store you pick out the decal or decals of your choice. I have set up the store for different types of payment including PayPal.
Because I am local the process will not take long and I will ship it to you free of charge. Please contact me if you have any questions or a special request.
Thank you for your support.

The offence side was lead by Scott Shepard, Jordan Johnston, and Jack Travis. The Vikings fought hard all night and won 22 to 3. All of the Vikings played together, which was created by our assist’s leaders Jeremiah Phillips and Luke Talley. Great job B team.
7th grade A team-
The Vikings 7th grade A team game was a close one for most of the game. The Vikings were down in the first Quarter by 8 points but managed to collect themselves and play impressive defense. This group that brought the Vikings back was Jeremy Hill, Mikey D’Ambroso, Author Munoz, Logan Parsons, and Dalton Ditto. After a lot of foul shots we took the lead in the second quarter. Author Munoz was 8 for 10 on the night. Leading scorer was Author Munoz and leading in steals was Mikey D’Ambroso. Rebounds were a big part of our victory and that was accomplished thanks to Hayden Hardy, Jackson Humpke, and Nathan McKee. In the second half Lago came out on fire and won the game 33 to 20. Great job 7th A.
8th grade boys basketball (Coach Rague)
The Lago Vista B 8th grade basketball team took on the Florence Buffaloes on Monday Dec. 12 and came away with a 28 to 12 victory. The team has shown great improvement over the coarse of the season and it continued against Florence. Adrian Hernandez lead the way defensively with his constant ball pressure and general hustle. Alex Holt has continued to improve offensively as he knocked his first three of the season and generally shot with confidence. Dylan McCrory also had a strong overall game with his ball handling and decision making. Other standouts offensively were Hunter Phillips and Noah Hernandez. Preston Morgan was a beast under the boards with many key rebounds and generally dominated the action underneath.
The Vikings will return to action on Jan. 5th in Johnson City.
The 8th grade Vikings boys' basketball team hosted the Florence Buffaloes on Monday Dec. 12 at the Middle School gym. The Vikings had their strongest showing of the year in winning the game 60-19. All 10 players were able to contribute to the scoring with Bryce Erickson and David Rague leading the way with 10 points each. Defensively, the effort was extremely good as Lucas Lawless and Kaleb Alderette were tasked with the primary defensive duties against Florence best overall player. Blaze Sealy and Josh Alexander were beasts under the boards, dominating the rebounding. Rory Maxwell continues to show development as a point guard this year after playing in the post last season. The Vikings return to action Thursday Jan. 5th at Johnson City.
7th grade girls basketball (Coach Moeller)
The 7th grade Lady Vikings basketball team traveled to Florence again this week for another matchup against the Buffaloes in their 4th game of the season.
The in the B team rematch, turnovers hurt the Lady Vikings. The first half score was 4-2 in our favor. Delaney Reighley had 2 points and Makayla Ward had 2 points. The Buffaloes only let us score 2 more points in the 2nd half, scored by Cadence Sansom. The leading rebounder on offensive and defensive rebounds was Madisyn Wright. Destiny Gonzales also had a defensive rebound, along with Jasmine Huff. Kristin Conine and Lola Spedale each recorded a steal in the 1st half. Florence outscored us in the 2nd half, putting the final score at 10-6. The Lady Vikings 7th grade B team is now at 1-2-1 for the season.
The A team game proved to be a little tougher this week since the Buffaloes worked on a press break during the week between our matchups. After we tweaked our press a bit, things started to click. The 1st half score was 14-5, in our favor. Sarah Long had 5 steals and 6 points. Emma Vincent had 4 steals, 5 rebounds, 9 points, and a block. Gina Chiappone had 6 steals and 2 points. Bella Zaleski and Avery Rague each recorded 3 rebounds and 2 points. Our goal was to score more points than we did last week, and to hold Florence to less points than they scored in the last game; and we did just that. The final score was 21-7. The Lady Viking 7th grade A team is now 3-1 this season, heading into Christmas break.
The Lady Vikings will host Johnson City in the first game of 2017 on January 5th at 5:00pm. Merry Christmas, have a safe break!
8th grade girls basketball (Coach Dachowski)
