Please take care of yourself as we all deal with COVID fatigue. We all just want this to go away so we can get back to our normal routines. I have number 3 and number 5 down pat! They need to add in this article the following: drink coffee with hazelnut flavoring, eat dark chocolate, smell lavender and eucalyptus and of course lots of prayers to get us through. What do you and your colleagues do to help manage stress this year? Please take care of yourselves as we work through this stress day by day.

Dear friends – although most of 2020 has upended – well, almost everything in our lives – we are excited to announce that the Blue Ridge Partnership for Children will once again be selling fresh Fraser Fir Christmas wreaths as a fundraiser to support the Imagination Library literacy project!

Throughout 2020, local children have continued to receive a FREE book in the mail, every month from birth through their 5th birthday, thanks to the Imagination Library. We’ve been registering children for the Imagination Library since 2006, and have distributed nearly 200,000 books to children across Avery, Mitchell and Yancey counties!! You can help support this ongoing children’s literacy project by purchasing a wreath for $25 from the Blue Ridge Partnership for Children. And new this year – we’ll add a festive hand-tied bow for only $5 more!

You can reply by email to order your wreaths, or call us at 682-0047 or 733-2899. Wreaths ordered by Thursday will be available on Wednesday the following week. Pick up is available in Burnsville and Newland on Wednesdays at the Partnership offices, and in Spruce Pine at Pack and Ship.

Checks can be made out to BRPFC.

ALL ORDERS NEED TO BE IN BY 12/4! Our last pickup date is 12/9.

Click on the pics below to access our flyers for our upcoming Letters to Santa outdoor drive thru events and our wreaths - which we will have available available for sale at these events, as well.

Thanks for helping us support this worthy cause, while celebrating the holiday season!
