For Your Information

Fair Day

Just a reminder that Fair Day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 15th. This will be an early release day. No lunch will be served and school will end at 10:35 am.

Volunteers Wanted for Morning Drop-off

We would love to have parent volunteers for our parent drop-off in the mornings. If interested, please call Shelley Smith at 253-841-8727. Please know that volunteers will need to review the school district's Volunteer Services webpage at this link.

Locating Students on Campus

Our district is implementing a few additional methods to track student locations throughout the day. These measures are being put into place in the event that we have individual students test positive for COVID-19. This will allow our staff to conduct contract tracing to determine if other students need to quarantine due to exposure. These methods include:

  • Seating charts in each classroom (mandatory in all classrooms)
  • Lunchroom table attendance (new as of 9/10)
  • Assigned seating on all bus routes (new as of 9/13)

Bus Passes

Due to the new requirements around contact tracing and assigned seating on bus routes, passes will no longer be allowed for students to ride a different bus. Students will only only be allowed to ride their assigned bus.

Puyallup Protection Plan (P3)

Just a reminder that the Puyallup Protection Plan (P3) form is due by September 30th. This form whether families wish to provide accidental damage coverage on their student's computer. If this form is not on file with our office, the assumption is that you are declining coverage.

She loves to relax by getting fresh air and being in nature. She speaks German, loves black licorice, and had a dog named Roxy. Prevention Information

September is National Recovery Month

Recovery is one step away…the first step; recognizing the problem and deciding to change.

SAMHSA’s National Helpline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357)

SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

Developing an addiction to drugs isn’t a character flaw or a sign of weakness, and it takes more than willpower to overcome the problem. Abusing illegal or certain prescription drugs can create changes in the brain, causing powerful cravings and a compulsion to use that makes sobriety seem like an impossible goal. But recovery is never out of reach, no matter how hopeless your situation seems or how many times you’ve tried and failed before. With the right treatment and support, change is always possible.
