Perpetrators were the Iraq government. There were about 182,000 victims. The temporary target was men, but women and children were not left out.

International Response

People are still searching for family members, and people are still missing. Lots of people think this is wrong and are mad at the Iraq government. Kurdish was giving their own piece of land.

Consequences and Aftermath

In the end about 4,500 Kurdish villages, 27 churches, and 270 hospitals were destroyed. Iraq government denies this whole thing happened. Families were digging bodies up looking for other family members.
