PreK, K and 4th Grade Graduations
Here are a few things that you need to know:
*Siblings in other grade levels will not be allowed to check out to go the the gym. This is due to not only our need to follow social distancing guidelines, but it also allows that student to not miss their core instruction for the day.
*Graduation will take place in the gym so that no visitors enter the main building.
*Each student may only have 4 family members attend. There will be groups of 4 chairs spread out in clusters across the gym for social distancing.
*Masks are not required but you are more than welcome to wear one if you feel more comfortable.
*There will be several picture opportunities set up around the gym.
*The gym doors will open at 8:20 each day for parents to get their seats. There is no need to check in at the front office. Just please make a line outside of the gym and wait for the doors to open.
*There will be sign out sheets in the gym if you would like to check your student out after the ceremony.
Glow Day
Due to social distancing restrictions that are still in place, parents will not be allowed to attend.
Students will keep Chromebooks over the Summer
If you know you will be moving over the summer to a NEW District, you may return your chromebook and charger before your child's last day to the teacher. If you decide to move over the summer, please bring the chromebook and charger by the office.
If you are moving to another school within the Cabot School District- this includes 4th graders who will be moving to Middle School- you do NOT need to return your computer. Your same computer will be used at the new school.
Here are some facts to help you with using the Parent GoGuardian app:
GoGuardian Parent App
1: How do I download the Parent App?
A: Simply search for “Goguardian Parent App” on the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Make sure the author of the app is GoGuardian.
2: Will I need any specific information about my student (login info, Clever badge, etc) to view the activity of my student in the Parent App?
A: No. You are linked to your student based on eSchool information and will only need your registered email address from eSchool. Once you have downloaded the application and verified your email address you should have access to each of your students.
3: What if GoGuardian does not recognize my email address or once I gain access to the Parent App I cannot see all my students?
A: Contact your students’ school registrar. They can adjust the information in eSchool to allow access.
4: Does the teacher have to use GoGuardian Teacher for me to be able to see the activity of my student?
Starting June 7th, Chromebook support requests for damage or login assistance can be sent via email (preferred) to techsupport@cps.k12.ar.us or you are welcome to call the Technology Office at 501-743-3503. The GoGuardian Parent App will also continue to be available to parents during the summer. For more information please see our GoGuardian FAQ for Parents.
