CHANGE IN COVID EXPOSURE COMMUNICATION

In consideration of our health service staff and their work life balance, the District is adjusting how COVID case communication will be managed. Beginning Monday, November 8, the COVID case communication will change to the following:

  • Parents of close contacts will receive a text alert through Blackboard notifying them of the close contact and to refer to their email for further details. The email will have instructions and information along with contact information for questions.

  • Building wide email notifications will no longer be sent but parents/guardians can refer to the COVID Dashboard on the District website for daily reporting.

Big picture
Diwali is a festival of lights and one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. The festival usually lasts five days and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika. The name is derived from the Sanskrit term dipavali, meaning "row of lights." The festival generally symbolizes the victor of light over darkness. Diwali is the third day of the festival and is celebrated on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
