August 4, 2022
Welcome Back! School activities are coming quickly and it is now time to start thinking about the beginning of school.
I am excited to welcome everyone as we begin the new school year. Orientation is on Monday, August 22. Time choices and locations are listed below. I will be there to introduce myself and share information about the new school year.
“Don’t be defeated by evil but defeat evil with good.” Romans 12:21 will be our focus for this school year. It is easy to avenge a person who has done something bad to us. Scripture advises us ‘not to be defeated by evil, but defeat evil with good’. We overcome evil with good. Just as Jesus provided us with a model of how to do this, we need to be the model for others to see that good does defeat evil. As Catholics, our response to evil should not reflect the typical behavior of others, but should reflect Christ, who is in all of us.
Many of you have already picked up your Football Bash tickets at the Parish Office. Please make sure to stop by if you have not. If you need more tickets, please contact the parish or school office. All proceeds will go toward resurfacing our playground. If you need more tickets, they're available in the parish office now and will be in the school office when it opens later this month. Don’t hesitate to look on our website or call the school office if you have questions.
I am looking forward to working with the staff and families to create an environment that allows all students to be their best selves, both academically and spiritually. I am excited to meet you all and to continue the mission of excellence St. Patrick School is known for. Enjoy the last days of summer and I look forward to seeing you all at Orientation on Monday, August 22.
