Meet Candice Cross, Principal at East Elementary
My name is Candice Cross and it is an honor to serve your family as the principal of Lubbock-Cooper East Elementary.
This adventure is truly a dream come true! From providing input on the design of each element in our beautiful building to selecting fun multi-purpose furniture to create comfortable spaces, the process of preparing the fifth Lubbock-Cooper elementary school has been incredible! For years now, we have been planning and praying for your children! It has been with much anticipation that I have waited for the day when we'd open the doors to the building we will all call 'home'. Seeing your children fill the halls over the last two weeks has been nothing short of pure joy! Thank you for sending your most precious gifts to East Elementary. We are humbled by this opportunity to invest in our Pirates.
My husband, Brady, and I grew up on the South Plains. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University and Lubbock Christian University. My husband serves the community of Lubbock as a sergeant with the Lubbock Police Department. We are blessed to have three Pirates of our own - Emerson (7), Addison (5), and Mason (3). We also have a seven-month-old Miniature Australian Shepherd, Kirby. We love to go camping as a family; South Fork, Colorado is our favorite destination.
I am beginning my sixth year with Lubbock-Cooper ISD. I have served the district at Central Elementary for five years; one year as assistant principal and four years as campus principal. I am excited to continue relationships with families who have moved to East from the Central attendance zone and look forward to getting to know the families who have come to East from other LCISD campuses or from outside our district. I know we will do great things at East and I am excited to partner with you as we serve your children!
Thank you for sharing your children with us! I am excited to get to know you all better and lay the foundation for relationships that will last a lifetime. I welcome and appreciate parent feedback, as East Elementary is a learning community, with our stakeholders playing a major role in the success of our students. Together, we will make an unbeatable team!
Every day is a GREAT day to be an East Elementary Pirate!

Meet Jackie Parrott, Office Manager at East Elementary
This is my 4th year as a Cooper Pirate and my first year in the office. I am so excited to be apart of our East family and see the magic we will make with not only our students but with our families and community.
I have four beautiful children Bryant, Gavin, Maddie and our little MVP, Mikey (those are his initials). I am also married to a wonderful man named Vance.
I work full time, taxi-mom after school for all my kids activities, and I am a student finishing up my bachelors at Grand Canyon University. Life may be hectic at the moment but I treasure all these moments. I look forward to getting to know you all as you come through the office.

Meet Erin Lowe, Counselor at East Elementary
Hello!
My name is Erin Lowe, and I am delighted to be the counselor at East Elementary this year. This is my tenth year a school counselor, and my fifth year as a counselor of elementary students.
I have three children of my own, Sydney, (13), Hayden (11), and Lillian (2), and a husband (Ron) of 15 years. My older children attend Laura Bush Middle School and we all love being Cooper Pirates!
Being a counselor is the best job I have ever had, and I can't wait to begin this year with both familiar and new faces!
