Principal's Message

I am delighted to announce Dr. Ken Branch will serve as Pleasant Union’s interim Assistant Principal. Dr. Branch has over 30 years of experience in education. Prior to retirement, he served as principal of a number of Wake County Schools including Centennial Middle and Brentwood Elementary. In 2012, he was named Principal of the Year for Wake County! Since his retirement, he has served our school system in a variety of interim leadership roles. Most recently he was interim Principal at Lead Mine Elementary. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Branch to the PUE community.

PUE PTA News

The PUE PTA welcomes the new and returning track 4 families to the 2019-2020 school year. We have so many fantastic events planned for this year. This is a reminder that the track 4 Open House is this Thursday evening. The PTA strongly encourages families to fill out the blue (general info sheet) and purple form (pta membership) and return them to their teachers or the PTA desk prior to leaving. Additionally, the PTA will be in the foyer selling track shirts and other PUE t-shirts, etc. The PTA is offering each family a free car magnet for those families that join the PTA prior to leaving Thursday night!

This is a reminder that the school store is open on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:45- 9:05. Track shirts are sold at the school store while supply lasts. You can also purchase your track, 4th and 5th grade shirts through our online store at puepta.com.

Looking for ways to help out at school or with PTA events? Just reach out to us at pueptaschool@gmail.com. Help is always needed and no effort is too small!!
