Coding and Maker Camps
Offered by the PCS Digital Learning Department
Calling All Coders and Makers!
The PCS Digital Learning Department is excited to offer two awesome, no cost, camps this summer to 4th through 8th grade students. Coding Camp will offer students the chance to learn the basics of coding and computer science, create digital stories and games, and will have the opportunity to work with robots like Dash and Sphero. The Maker Camp will offer students the opportunity to create with green screen and stop motion technologies, invent with Little Bits and Bloxels, and explore virtual reality.
Students may only sign up for one camp, and must attend according to their 2017 - 2018 grade level. There are a limited number of slots available; registration opens on April 26, 2017. Students chosen to attend camp will be contacted with additional information by May 12, 2017. Students must have a clear discipline record to attend camp. REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 26, 2017.

Camp Details
Coding Camps:
- 4th - 5th Grades: July 17th - 20th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Location: Creekside Elementary
- 6th - 8th Grades: July 24 - 28th, 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Location: Eastern Elementary
Maker Camps:
- 4th - 5th Grades: July 24th - 28th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Location: Eastern Elementary
- 6th - 8th Grades: July 17th - 20th, 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Location: Creekside Elementary
