Challenge Coin Contest
Medal of Honor - Character Education Program - Skyball 2017
An incredible opportunity!
Six talented GCISD students in fourth through eleventh-grade have an opportunity for their original artwork to be featured on a challenge coin for the 15th annual Skyball event honoring active duty and military support organizations. Skyball is the premier fundraiser for the Air Power Foundation sponsored by American Airlines. This rare opportunity will involve students creating original artistic drawings to reflect one of the 6 character traits featured in the Medal of Honor Curriculum. Instructions for the contest may be found below; each level of student (elementary, middle, high) has information that is specific to their contest. Artwork must be original and may be completed at school or at home. Information on the history and significance of challenge coins may be found here.
Entries must be submitted to campus principals by May 30, 2017 at the end of the school day using this template. Entries also must be accompanied by signed photo release forms. Please print and include this with your entry submission. Winners will be announced in August 2017 when school resumes.
