Texas Dynamix Cheer
WELCOME COACH KAYLEE
WELCOME COACH KAYLEE!!!! We are growing our coaching staff!! GO TX DYNAMIX!
Coach Kaylee has been involved with competitive cheer for over 16 years. She started cheering at Cheer Athletics as a young girl, but took a break to follow her love of gymnastics and sports for 12 years. She then returned to competitive cheer where she competed at Side Line Sports. She dedicated her childhood to cheer/gymnastics and continued to pursue her love of cheer throughout all four years as a Rockwall High School cheerleader. School cheer brought her new friendships, lots of team bonding, and an even deeper passion for the sport. Coach Kaylee furthered her education at Aveda's Institute for Cosmetology and currently works at a hair salon in Royce City. Hair by day, and coaching by night--the best of both worlds for Coach Kaylee! She is excited to share her love for cheer here at Texas Dynamix and hopes to make a lasting impact on our girls. Girls need to start wearing cheer shoes at practices. Any white cheer shoes will suffice. If you don't have white cheer shoes, there are quite a few options on Amazon or at Academy.
During Monday practices from now on, we will be working on stunts for about 25-30 minutes. During this portion of practice, girls will need to wear masks. If you don't want your daughter to stunt, I completely understand and we will have them continue working on tumbling. Please let me know your preference. I will not allow them to stunt until I have permission from you.

FROM ONE PARENT TO ANOTHER
As schools are starting to open their doors, I wish you all the best of luck this year. I know all districts/schools are doing this differently, and everyone will have different experiences. I know that many of us, as parents, may feel a bit anxious or apprehensive as we all go back. Please know that at the gym, we will continue to follow our protocols: reminding the girls about social distancing, temp checks, sanitation before and after practice, one person at a time in the bathroom, and wiping down equipment.
I also understand that we have a number of families who are still not ready to send their daughters back to the gym and I respect their wishes. I am hopeful that with some more time, everyone will eventually be able to get back and do what they love to do! if it takes a few more months, that's completely fine and we will welcome everyone back with air high 5s and smiles!
In the meantime, we will continue to offer tons of conditioning, training, and repetition, one on one spotting and feedback, skill progression and new challenges, and of course, a fun atmosphere where they feel safe and successful. As parents, we can all agree that building character, instilling discipline, encouraging a strong work ethic, and teaching the power of teamwork is crucial at this age. And what better way to teach these things than on a cheer team with friends who love the same sport they do?! :)
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
Level 2 $225/month
Level 1 $175/month
IB will be asking each of you to do the following when practicing in the building.
1) Upon entering the gym, we will take everyone's temperatures using a touch-free thermometer.
2). No bags, jackets, etc will be allowed in the gym. Girls will leave belongings in the mirror room.
3). In order to keep traffic down, there will not be any visitation from parents/visitors. Only athletes will be allowed into the gym. The good news is, we have a HUGE facility! While the recommended percentage of people in a building is at 25%, we are well under that.
4). All coaches will be required to wear a cover over their mouth. Masks are encouraged yet optional for athletes.
5). Water bottles ONLY in the gym.
5). Athletes will be required to wash their hands upon entering the building, as well as before they leave. We will limit the amount of people in the restroom at one time. We will have hand-sanitizer on hand as well.
6). We will be practicing social distancing of 6 feet apart at all times. When we stunt, masks will be required.
7). If you need to talk to the office about anything, we recommend you email. This way we don't have extra people in the lobby area. Again, only athletes will be permitted in the building.
8). The gym will have an on site cleaning crew to wipe down the bathrooms and doors along with securing all procedures of safe distancing throughout the day. If you would like to see our daily cleaning log sheet or staff log in sheet where we will verify our temperatures, please feel free to ask for it once we start back up.
We know that everyone has been affected by COVID-19 and these are challenging times...for parents and for kids. I am a firm believer in the power of teamwork, and I think that sticking together and working through this will help our girls build strength and character.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call me at any time :). 972-689-6347
I also want to sincerely thank you ALL for standing with us. It's times like where loyalty shines through, and I truly appreciate you ALL for your patience and understanding. I love TXD cheer, I love coaching, and most importantly, I love all of our awesome cheer families.
