INFINITE BOUNDS CHEER
Exceptional Athletes....Exceptional People
MARCH and APRIL 2020
I hope everyone is safe and healthy, and I pray your families are doing well. I wanted to take a quick moment and let you all know how grateful I am to work with you and your daughters. I have sincerely missed them and I'm itching to get back into a "normal" routine again. I always look forward to Monday and Thursday nights going to the gym!
I've loved seeing all of the creative handstands and bridges, and I look forward to getting some fun "plank challenge" vidoes as well!
Next week, I am going to offer a virtual Zoom practice for ALL IB cheerleaders. Please encourage your daughter to participate on Monday at 5:00 pm. I'll be sending out a link through Remind. In 17 years of coaching, I've never coached a practice through a screen! This should be interesting to say the least! If anything, it'll give us all a chance to connect, see each other's smiles, and work up a little sweat! Please have your daughter wear IB pracicewear and cheer shoes as if it's a normal practice! We will do some stretching, drills, jumps, and conditioning. She can do this workout outside or inside..as long as she has a safe spot. I'm hoping this will be a way to get them active and back into the swing of things!
As far as Midnight's March Spirit Celebration competition, I'm working on getting a refund for the registration fees. With all of the Varsity events that have been cancelled, the company is very behind and they are swamped with thousands of requests. I've spoken with 4 different people, and the general consensus is that we should expect to get a refund in 8-12 weeks.
As far as the April Fun Cheer competition for both teams, I should be able to issue refunds at the end of April, so that's good news!
I want to thank you all for standing with IB. It's times like where loyalty shines through, and I sincerely appreciate you ALL for your patience and understanding. I love IB cheer, I love coaching, and most importantly, I love all of our awesome cheer families.
