Kinder students visit with Local Farmer, Mr. Kurt Davis and sit in Mr. JT Sentell's tractor

Students got a chance to hear from a local farmer, sit in a tractor, and dissect a cotton boll. They learned how cotton is planted, harvested, and then taken to the gin to eventually be made into clothes and other products. Students picked their own cotton boll and took it back to their classroom where they counted how many seeds their boll had and used the cotton in an art project.
