Stress Reduction Support for Students & Caregivers
The District's Counseling and Wellness Program is excited to share a FREE digital mindfulness and stress-reduction program/app with you called Whil. This program/app is used by Harvard University, Intuit and other well-known businesses and universities who purchase the program annually as a resource for their staff and students. TUHSD Wellness has been able to secure a second year of FREE access for our whole community thanks to a Tam High parent who founded Whil and has generously agreed to provide it to the entire TUHSD community of students, staff and parents/caregivers.
WHIL has two separate offerings for you –one for you to use for personal use and one for your teens.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
- All TUHSD parents/caregivers can create their own Whil account by signing up here: https://connect.whil.com/sponsor/tamfamily
- Your students will be getting an email that encourages them to sign up for a teen account too by going to https://connect.whil.com/sponsor/tamstudents and signing in using their student Tam District email address
Note: You can use whil.com through your computer or on an app but you must first use the URL above to sign up for free access before downloading and using the app. Thanks!

Update to the 2020-21 School Calendar
In the 2020-21 school year, the Tam District has added 2 days to the end of the school year, June 14th and 15th, 2021. In the event that we have to close schools during the 2020-21 school year, we will extend the school year by utilizing those 2 days. If we are not required to close school due to PSPS events or other inclement weather occurrences, then the school year will end on the original end date of June 10, 2021 for students and June 11, 2021 for staff. Most power shutoffs and weather related closures occur between October and April, so we anticipate being able to communicate with families the definitive end date of the school year by the April break week in 2021.
