Lenox Elementary Newsletter

Week of November 1st

Greetings Lenox Families/Saludos Familias Lenox

We are nearing the end of the first quarter and I am so proud of all of the Lenox students for their hard work, persistence, and flexibility as we navigate the 21-22 school year. Students have been busy showing and sharing what they know these past few weeks so that teachers can design instruction to match their strengths and needs. Conferences will be a great opportunity to learn more about your child's progress! Teacher/Parent conferences are scheduled for Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday, November 23rd. We are scheduling conferences through ParentVue this year-scheduling window opens next week. To secure a conference time, please login to ParentVue (starting next week) to select a conference time for your child/children. Follow these directions for signing up for conferences or watch this video here. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher. If you are in need of translation services, please let your child's teacher know as well. We look forward to connecting with you soon!

News & Notes You Need to Know

Arrival Reminders
  • When dropping off your child, please pull all the way up to the end of the lane at all times. Stopping early causes a backup and a safety hazard for staff and students in our parking lot.
  • For safety reasons, please have all students exit your vehicle on the passenger side
  • If you need to exit your vehicle for an extended amount of time while dropping your student off, we ask that you park at an alternative location so as not to cause a back up in the pull thru lane
  • If you would like to drive to school, park, and then walk your child onto campus, the safest spot to park is on Pondosa Dr. This will allow your student access to the crosswalk on Rock Creek Blvd versus crossing in our parking lot

Attendance Reminder

Our Attendance line at 503-844-1363 is open 24-7. If you know your child will be absent, please call and leave a message so that we can accurately document the absence and followup if needed.

Crutches/Braces/Cast Reminders

If your child has a cast, brace, or is on crutches, please share the doctor's note so that we can accurately accommodate and support. Your child's safety and wellbeing are at the top of our priority list!
