We hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! Last week was another rockin' week at Eastside!! Students were engaged and learning essential skills daily! Student Attendance was great last week! Lets keep this up!! September is "Attendance Awareness Month!" It is so important for our kiddos to be at school engaging in the rich learning going on every day in the classroom!! Mrs. Dunlap and Mrs. Krogman are ready to sing with the grade levels with perfect attendance!


  • If you haven't already, completed the online form for Free and Reduced lunch. Use this link to the page and scroll down to Meal Applications. Even if you don't think you will qualify, all the applications submitted help our school and funding! https://family.titank12.com/
  • Drop off for school starts at 7:30...School starts at 7:50...Tardy Bell at 8AM
  • Car rider pick up will begin at 3:20, remember to go around in the gravel lot.
  • Parents if you are looking for materials to work with your student. Please get with your teacher to coordinate checking out resources from the parent center!
  • Running Club forms have been sent out, and sign ups are happening now! Deadline to sign up is this FRIDAY, September 6th. Running club will start September 10th. If you have any questions please contact Coach Winn!
  • WatchDog Dad Kick off is September 12th! Come join us for information about how Dad's can get involved during the school day! Pizza is also provided! YUM!

Lunch Times:

Kinder: 12:20-12:50

1st: 11:00-11:30

2nd: 11:20-11:50

3rd: 12:00-12:30

4th: 11:40-12:10

5th: 12:40-1:10


Wood Working, PantherFit, Basketball, Card Making, Spirit Club, Board Game, STEAM, Acts of Kindness, Yoga, and so much more! Club kickoff was Friday and the staff and students of Eastside were loving it!

There are a variety of clubs happening for all different interests through out the building! Teachers chose clubs based on their experiences and interests. Students then were encouraged to sign up for a club. Club time will take place every Friday from 7:50-8:20. Clubs will also include community members! If you would like to help with an activity or just be an extra set of hands during clubs, please contact your student's teacher. The staff and students would love it!

Eastside is a cell phone free zone!

Please follow the NO cell phone use rule during pick up and drop off times! This includes in the car rider line. Our number 1 goal is for all students to be safe! This rule will be enforced by the Greenbrier Police Department. Thank you for practicing safety!


Volunteer Training!

We had a GREAT Turn out at out volunteer training! Thank you to everyone who came! If you still would like to volunteer get with your student's teacher for more information or contact the office. We would love to have you!

Watch Dog Dad Kickoff !

The WatchDog Dad Kickoff Party will be September 12th at 6PM in the Cafeteria! Pizza and drinks will be served! This is a great opportunity to get Dads, Uncles, and Brothers involved! Come to the Kickoff for more information!

Dress Code!

Please be mindful of the student dress code for students in grades 3-5. Students who are in violation of dress code will be asked to change and parents will be notified. You can find the dress code link below!
