CLMS Family Update

April 29, 2022

From CLMS Principal, Mr. Eric Pettit

Good Afternoon CLMS Families!

I am incredibly proud of our CLMS students and staff as it has been a busy two weeks! Our students did an outstanding job on the Ohio State Tests as they took their time and showed off all that they have learned so far this year. I mentioned to students today that the work is not done yet and we are looking forward to a busy May!

Our 5th and 7th grade classes traveled to the Ohio Statehouse this week where they saw a glimpse into our local politics at work! Additionally, students were treated to Kona Ice last Friday for their efforts on the state tests. Employees at both the statehouse and Kona Ice shared how polite and respectful our students were!

Finally, I wanted to take a moment to share with our families that next week is School Staff Appreciation Week. I want to thank all of those that make CLMS such a special place to be! Students were challenged to think of an adult that has had a positive impact on their time at CLMS and to simply say "thank you" to that person next week!

Please review the rest of our newsletter and do not hesitate to contact the CLMS office with any questions.

As always, Go Pirates!
