Hayes Weekly Update
May 21st - May 25th
A Message from Mrs. Seybolt
I'm back in action! I have missed Hayes and I am ready to see everyone tomorrow. A big thank you to everyone for coming together and supporting one another and the students while I was gone. I rested easy knowing Hayes was in good hands with Ms. Schmitt and all of you. Thank you for that gift.
This week in PLC meetings we will be dividing students into classes for the 2018-2019 school year. We will also be working on getting end of year procedures to you during your PLC time as well.
Please pay careful attention to the schedule below, Ms. O's schedule is a bit different this week.
Students can donate clean clothing to our clothes closet for a free dress day. This will be coordinated through Ms. Herriott. Students will have on a bracelet indicated they have earned the free dress day.
And now for the good stuff. I've been thinking about the number 6 a lot today. 6 is a pretty great number. I mean it is the number of Diet Cokes I buy in a pack, the number of sides of my favorite shape, the hexagon, the number of sides on a dice, how many geeses are laying, AND . . . . . the number of school days left this school year!
However, you still need two hands to show the number 6. This can be a little sad for some, but; we will Survive! Check out this awesome music video from the late 1970's. It has sequins, hot pink lycra, and roller skating. In the words of Gloria Gaynor, "I will survive, hey, hey."
As always if you have questions or concerns, please come see me!
We are Cardinals,
Michelle Seybolt
