Looking Ahead to the Science Fair

While February 10th may seem like a long way off, if you are a middle or high school teacher, now is actually the time to begin the science fair process at your school. Depending on the type of research they do, secondary students may need special forms and prior approval by an SRC or IRB before they can begin experimenting. If you were not able to attend our science fair training meeting on September 7th and you have students participating at your local school level, please contact Christian Cali ( or Tracy Matthews ( for more information. Green Acres Garden Partnership

Congratulations to Green Acres Elementary for it's partnership with REAL School Gardens and Sprouts Farmers Market. The school will receive a new outdoor classroom and garden. We are so excited to see the "fruits" of your labor!

ESO Training and Supplies Meeting

If you are coaching an Elementary Science Olympiad team this year, our annual training and supplies distribution meeting will occur on October 5th from 4:00-5:30 at the HR Suite (590 Commerce Park Drive, Suite 140).

3-D Learning: Tools to Teach Using Phenomena

On Thursday, October 12 (12:30-5:00 pm), the Noyce Community at Kennesaw State University invites you to their annual conference for new and experienced chemistry and physics teachers.
