Butterflies are insects. They are invertebrates wich means that they do not have a back bone. They are cold-blooded wich means that there temputure chages with the wether. They are covered with little hairs. Butterflies move by flying. There predators are birds, mice, lizards, frogs, and pray mantises.

Butterflies live in meadows and fields. They drink necter.
