Harrison Explore Session 1
June 12-16
KUDOS
We have some of the best Explore Staff Ever! Kudos to these special people that have done some extra duties as assigned or landed in their lap:)
- Dismissal duties changing daily and all jumping in and helping out! We have shaved off 20-25 minutes from first day of Explore. BUS duties tweaked daily and many have been willing to change along the way - thank you!
- RICHARD - what a wonderful custodian!!!
- Ben and Tami have picked up extra duties which are greatly appreciated! Car line and lunch would't go as smoothly without you!
- Tami did the KOLR10 news for us - thanks! Thank you to Stephanie for being willing and ready but then the news people were late.
- Blessed are the flexible and this staff has shown that daily! Can't say that enough!
- WOW! What about that coffee cart and the fabulous Functional Skills staff and students - great job!
- Specialty team (PE and Makerspace) collaborating and sharing space like pros - thank you!
Dismissal Duties for NEXT Week!
Megaphone Caller - Susan Trotter
Crossing Guard - Chelsea Koch
Cindy and Tasha help outside please to keep kids safe getting to their cars
Special Ed Team and Michelle and Roxy help with bus lines - thanks!
All others assist with cafeteria keeping kids quiet and out the door when their name is called:)
Crystal will be helping Monday-Thursday and Angie will be doing Friday!
SPINNERS
Mr. Richard has fished out two spinners out of the trash! I've told kids to not have spinners in the lunchroom and I've told kids the spinners should stay in their backpacks or at home. It us up to you what you allow in your classrooms. Thanks - no more trash diving for spinners:)
Drills Next Week
We have to do one more intruder drill and an earthquake drill. We will do that Thursday, June 15 @ 9:15 a.m.
Field trips
Thank you to those going on field trips to get lunches planned out and being extra vigilant with taking roll and counting heads all day! I appreciate all the good communication with the office and parents as well in regards to your field trips. Be sure to take attendance and let the office know attendance before leaving for the field trip.
