Junior Achievement Field Trip For 8th Graders
Last Wednesday and Thursday, our 8th graders went on a field trip to Junior Achievement (JA). JA gives the students an opportunity to assume the role of an “adult for the day.” Each 8th grader worked on an individual iPad. They were given the challenge of a real-life scenario: a career, salary, credit score, debt, a family and financial obligations.
We want to give a BIG thank you to our 40+ parents that volunteered their time and energy to assist the students at JA. We truly could not have done this without them!!!
