PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF 5TH GRADE STUDENTS - Save the date - June 6th 10am Moving On Celebration "Clap Out" through the Tiogue Parking Area
Here are the details for the 5th Grade Parade & Clap out school event on Saturday, June 6th
We will be meeting in the upper parking lot of Morse Tavern beginning about 9:45am-9:50am.
Coventry Police will be there to help in our celebration.
We will have a lead car or cars there at Morse Tavern to greet the families and to begin to escort the line of cars directly to Tiogue, using East Shore Dr.
We have strict guidance to follow for the event - No one can get out of cars at the start location or at the school. We ask that students wear masks when cars enter the school grounds. Obviously, that can ultimately be a parent/guardian decision.
At 10am our lead car will start down East Shore heading toward school. Officer Ricci helped us to lay out our plan. We will travel down East Shore until we get to the fork in the road by school. We will travel down the road adjacent to Tiogue leading toward the back of our building.
Our parade of cars will then drive onto the school grounds near the back of our gymnasium. Cars will take an immediate left and drive down the side of the building where our minibuses usually exit the grounds. We ask that you just follow the lead car and the cars in front of you.
The parade of cars will then take an immediate right into our parking lot, passing by our front door.
We will have faculty & staff stationed around that area (at a safe 10 foot distance) as well as parked within the middle and right hand perimeter of our parking lot.
We ask that cars follow each other around the parking lot and exit our parking area heading back down East Shore Dr. in the opposite direction that we came.
Please be aware that some students with special needs will get their Distance Learning Assignments from their Special Educator, Service Providers, and Interventionists

Picking Up Your Child's Materials - We will be contacting you and releasing a schedule
We have filled large paper bags with your child's belongings that were left in school on March 13th. Inside of the bags you will find a copy of the final report card, a yearbook if it was purchased, as well as the Original Works art piece if those were ordered earlier in the year.
When you come to pick up your child's bag, at the designated time that we give you, you must bring any library books, textbooks, and/or other materials that belong to the school. We will be collecting those items. Be assured that anything returned to the school will be sanitized over the summer time.
Chromebooks will not be collected in June! More to come over the summer months about a technology return.
Finally, we ask that you strictly follow the pick up schedule for June 10 or 11. We need to maintain a safe distance upon pick up. When you drive up we will have your child's items outside and ready for you. The process should not take more than a minute or two after you pull up.
