Hybrid on the Horizon!
Hello Families! Friday we sent out the district announcement about starting a Hybrid Schedule on Monday, October 19th. Due to this there will be some schedule changes but I believe with thorough communication and working together as a team we will be able to make this transition smoothly. There will be questions and concerns, undoubtedly, which is why we will be having 2 Parent Meetings next week. The 7th grade parent meeting will take place Tuesday, October 6th @ 7:00 pm. The 8th grade parent meeting will take place Wednesday, October 7th @ 7:00 pm. We will have student groupings and schedules sent out no later than next Friday, likely sooner. We are arranging groups to accommodate families as best possible. Again, please read the district letter thoroughly before our meetings. (See below)

Transportation: ALL 7th grade parents and any 8th grade parents new to A+, it is a must that you complete the transportation application. https://www.ccsoh.us/Page/4818 This will increase the chance that transportation will be provided in a timely manner, when we begin a hybrid schedule

After-School Program: Please register here: http://bit.ly/AplusPLAreadingsignup Parents, this program is not the same as last year. Your scholars will be able to receive intensive Reading remediation as well as supports in Math. Please note, this is not a program simply to complete homework. The focus will be working on skills that will benefit them across all content areas and allow homework to be completed in a more efficient manner, independently.
Water Bottle Donations: Due to COVID we are not allowed to use water fountains, when students return. It would help us tremendously if any families are able to donate packs of water bottles. Thank you, in advance, for your support!
Interims! Interims are available to view through ProgressBook. Attached are directions in order to access your scholars grades. Also, pease remember that you can currently see how your scholar is doing in their Google Classrooms for each class. Once in their class click on "View Assignments" and you can see what has or has not been submitted as well as their grades.
Meals: Meals will be distributed on Monday this week. There will be 4-day meal packs for both breakfast and lunch available from 11:00 - 1:00. Please drive around back for pick up. Food menus below.

Reminder of Student Expectations for Virtual Learning @ A+ Arts Academy
General Expectations:
- Attend school everyday: Monday thru Friday
- Join your class sessions ON TIME - even early if possible
- Wear your school uniform shirt or color - DO NOT wear pajamas, graphic T-shirts, jerseys, or hoods/scarf
- No food or snacks during class
Virtual Expectations:
- Video must be on so you are visible
- Audio is to be muted - unless teacher permission given to unmute
- No side chat or conversations while in class
- Students may not share or post without teacher permission
- Students may not post any language, images, or music that is
deemed inappropriate by teacher and/or admin
