As we continue to respond to the coronavirus situation, we will provide answers to questions as we have them. Read on for additional answers to your questions.
Have there been any confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the district?
No. As of noon on March 17, 2020, we have had no confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in any of our students or staff reported to us by Waukesha County Public Health.
My child left something at school that they need. How can they get it?
Schools and grounds are now closed to the public. Parents and students can enter their schools on Wednesday, March 18, 2:00-7:00 pm to retrieve any belongings they might need. Families should enter at each school’s main entrance. Teachers will not be available during this time.
If you are not able to come during this time, please contact your school’s office.
Are my child’s extra-curricular or after school activities canceled?
The Governor's order requires that all K-12 buildings be closed to extracurricular and co-curricular activities, athletics, club and youth sports, etc. The spring sports season is suspended indefinitely. This includes all workouts, tryouts, practices, and competitions, both on-site and off-site. Teams cannot formally, or informally, meet or assemble during the closure. This also includes captain’s practices and/or informal team meetings.
What will happen to graduation or prom?
No decisions have been made regarding graduation or prom at this time.
