Attention 7th Graders!

What is WEB? WEB stands for "Where Everybody Belongs". In this program, soon to be 8th graders are trained to be mentors for incoming 6th and 7th graders. As positive role models, WEB Leaders are student leaders who guide the 6th/7th graders to discover what it takes to be successful during middle school. Do you think you have what it takes to be a WEB Leader? Do you think you would like to mentor other students at Wilson? If that is something you might be interested in or if you have any questions about WEB, please contact Ms. Fink at sfink@gusd.net.

Question of the Week

Question of the Week: While at school, we had a daily question of the day in the morning announcements. Since we are now in remote learning, we will have a weekly Question of the Day in the Sunday night call/email. Students/families can submit an answer. A correct response will be randomly selected and the winner will be announced in the following Sunday callout/email. By submitting a response, you are agreeing to having your name announced in the schoolwide call out/email.

Last week’s Question of the Week: How many constitutions does the United States have in total?

The answer: The United States has a total of 51 constitutions (50 state constitutions and 1 national constitution).

Congratulations to Isabel Maghaguian a 8th grader from Ms. Sutphin's 2nd period homeroom class for correctly answering the question.

This week's Question of the Week: In honor of Black History month, our questions for the month, will highlight Black History Month:

When and where did Dr. King deliver his “I Have a Dream” speech?
