Cross Country

BJAMS kids once again led their SMS teammates to impressive results at the State finals on a hilly 3.2K course at the Catamount Outdoor Center in Williston, VT. Hundreds of kids from about 40 schools around the State participated.


Stowe MS girls WON the State finals! Leila Griffith led the team placing 11th overall out of 222 runners completing the course in 12:43.0 (a 6:22/mile pace). Leila is the 2nd fastest 7th grade girl IN THE STATE.



Luke Slesar led the SMS Boys team to a 3rd place team finish. Luke was 8th overall out of 263 runners finishing in 11:48.1 (a 5:54/mile pace). Luke is the 3rd fastest 7th grade boy IN THE STATE!


Way to go, Leila and Luke!
