Lost & Found

We will be setting up a table for the lost and found items. Please ask your child(ren) to check this table for any missing items. Items will be donated at the end of the month. You may come after school to door 4 (by the playground) to check if you have any missing items.

Be sure you stay up-to-date with the ever-changing district calendar and follow us on our Facebook page so you can plan ahead!

This month we’re talking about the virtue of Courage – to help our children be courageous and learn to conquer things that frighten or scare them.. Here is the definition we are using:

Spirit Wear - new design coming your way for spring! Look for an order form in your student's backpack later this week and we'll post the link to order online on our Facebook, LaGrange Elementary PTA. Wait until you see the new design, it will make you want to throw on a cape and fly! Any unresolved issues from previous orders will be resolved during this order. Reading Royalty Literacy Program IS UNDERWAY! Info (hopefully) went home last week. The flyer explains the program and has coupons that your kiddo(s) will turn in to their teacher(s). Even if you didn't have the flyer/coupons at the time the child did the reading, any books/chapters read since Monday 1/31 count towards this competition. You'll find out how the PTA has combined Miss Kentucky, the Scholastic Book Fair & a fun classroom reading goal to literacy. πŸ™‚ Thanks to Mistie K. & Andrea M. for getting the program running. 5th Grade Families

Cub Scouts

Next Den meeting for Pack 200 Cub Scouts is today!, Tues 2/8, 6:30pm, LaGrange Presbyterian Church on Prestwick Drive. Our Den meetings are where we spend time with other Scouts in the same grade and work on earning Adventures. At this meeting the Cub Scouts will get their Derby car kit - Derby car making workshop is this weekend! Cub Scouts is for BOYS & GIRSL in K-5th grades.
