A Note from Mrs. Norbut

-Hi Parents,

What a day... is it a full moon tonight?! Students were extra chatty and full of energy - especially, during our pumpkin investigation! (who can blame them!) The students enjoyed picking though the seeds and feeling the insides...well most anyways. ;)

Friday folders came home today. Please review these papers prior to coming in for parent conferences. I ask that you send back the folders signed and with papers still in them on Monday so we can discuss at conferences if necessary. (conferences are only 10 min so not much time!) Please sign and date the back of the folder so I know you viewed it.

Reminders: For Raz kids homework assignments, please ensure your child is taking the quiz that goes with the story. This helps me see if they are comprehending the reading. Thanks!

Homework: Must be turned in daily. Credit is not given unless turned in the next day. IXL assignments MUST be completed by Friday for credit.

Snack is a quick/limited time frame. Please send only one snack per snack time. Eating more than 1 snack gets time consuming. Thank you for understanding.

This week:

Literacy: Focus on plot.. Intro to problem/solution. Review character/setting.

Writing: continue personal narratives focus on adding adjectives, variety of nouns.

Math: Number stories, labeling units, addition/subtraction changes

Science: Life Cycle of pumpkin, pumpkin investigation
