Mooooo-vin' through March
This Week
This week in speech rotations, we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear and identified animals with a variety of colors. We also played a game where we had to follow directions with animals (e.g., put the duck in the hat, put the penguin on the bucket, etc.). During P.E., we found shamrocks hidden under orange cones, rowed boats with partners, and sang Going on a Bear Hunt.
With our friends from Room 15, we played with toy horses, pigs, cows, and sheep in the barn, played Stop/Go with different motor actions (e.g., walking, crawling, galloping, flying), and played with a new doll house that Ms. Ruth brought in. We practiced our Spring Fling songs and we are getting more familiar with them. On Thursday, we made Oobleck (from the Dr. Seuss book) with our friends by helping one another to measure out 2 cups of cornstarch per 1 cup of water, mix the ingredients together, and add pink and orange food coloring!
