Being positive won't guarantee you'll succeed. But being negative will guarantee that you won't.

Reminders & News
- Make sure to read The Exchange for district news and information
- Here is the link for the morning announcements, which begin daily at 8:00 a.m.
- Make sure to nominate kids for the P2P Learner Award (2 per teacher per 9 week period)
- Community circles are an important part of our goal toward relationship and character building. Please remember that it is the expectation that you circle every day (except your PLC day). If you occasionally need to change the topic based on a classroom need or to keep things interesting, you are free to do so. The curriculum is there as your guide.
- When you are planning an absence, remember that the Absence Request Form is required as well as your entry into AESOP. Particularly for personal days, the 10 day advance request for approval still applies and you make the request using the form.
- I was told at my principal meeting on Tuesday that progress monitoring for math and reading must be every 3 weeks. We have discussed this as a leadership team and found a solution which should have little to no impact on you but still satisfies the requirement. Please ensure that your students are regularly using these computer programs so that we can say our progress monitoring is through these programs in between our regular 6 week increments: Waterford Math (K-2), First in Math (3-5), Lexia reading (K-5 ONCE AVAILABLE). You will not be required to manually enter any information onto any form regarding progress in these programs but the data will be available upon district request.
- Please do not park in the parking spots in the bus parking lot, which are designated for the cafeteria workers.
