UPDATED ACT INFORMATION
NATIONAL ACT (Saturday Test)
As of today, the National (Saturday) ACT test will NOT be given at any school in the Omaha Metro area for June and July. This decision was made because of the current health conditions and for the safety of students and staff.
If you have registered for either of these tests you will need to contact ACT for guidance as to what you will need to do next.
DISTRICT ACT
Millard South has been working with the State and Local officials to come up with an ACT testing opportunity for the Class of 2021. The hope is to offer the ACT to students in the Fall. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
ON TO COLLEGE
Millard South High School has been working with On To College, John Baylor and his staff to plan for test prep for our Class of 2021. All Millard South students have access to the On To College Test Prep Modules online. Please have your student check Google Classroom for instructions on how they can access their account!
Class of 2021-There will be some incentives for the Class of 2021 to do some ACT Prep work over the summer. Please watch for emails and Google Classroom posts from Mrs. Wragge.
Class of 2022-The Class of 2022 will receive their On To College Test Prep in the spring of 2021! Feel free to log on and use the resources available to you!
Metro Area Summer 2020 Enrichment Opportunities
*Due to the Covid19 outbreak many community events and activities are constantly being changed or cancelled. We would encourage parents to reach out to the specific organizations on the list to confirm the availability of the services. For opportunities click here.
Student Recognition
Throughout the year, we like to recognize students who have excelled in one endeavor or another. If you know of someone who has excelled in any activity or community contribution, please email Kathy Cinotto.
Strength & Conditioning Summer Policies
We are working hard to create a safe environment for all of our students, coaches and community. Our summer strength and conditioning training sessions along with our sport specific skill training sessions are all voluntary.
If your student is participating in summer workouts, they will need to bring a water jug/bottle to their workouts since the drinking fountains will not be available. Students will need to leave immediately after completing their workout. Locker rooms will not be open and students should leave their cell phones in their cars whenever possible.
Each student must have a signed parent waiver before they will be able to workout at Millard South H.S. starting on June 1st, 2020.
