While the library is open, there are also some very exciting reading activities available for students in each grade level! Check out our summer library calendars to see what's happening at Titus!
Sign-ups for summer reading activities will be in the Rotunda until the end of the school year, or until each activity is full. Please contact Miss Quaresima, Mrs. Wallace, or Miss Brennan for more information!!
In School this Week...
It's hard to believe that it's already the last week of school! The children have come so far from the beginning of the year. I am so proud of all they have learned and accomplished since September.
We will be using this week to summarize and review many things we have learned this year. In math, we will be practicing counting money, telling time, adding, subtracting, and solving number stories. We have added over 150 words to our word wall this school year! We will be playing some fun games to help us review the words we've learned. In reading, we will read some fun summer stories, and write about what we'd like to do over the summer. We will also be creating a First Grade Memory Book, sharing our fondest memories from this year.
As we close out the 2012 - 2013 school year, I want to send my deepest thanks out to all of the parents and family members of room 105. Without your help, the children would not be where they are today. Whether it be homework help, studying spelling and word wall words, reading at home, or just encouraging your child to do their best and have fun - your support means a lot to me and to them! Thanks also, to all of the parents who have volunteered in our classroom and around Titus. Your time and energy helps make our classroom and our school successful!!
Have a great summer!
