The Cincinnati Bengals were founded in 1968 by Paul Brown. Brown was a former coach for the Cleveland Browns who had much success in his time. This type of business would be known as a "Franchise".
Passing Down of The Team
Paul Brown died in 1991, prior to his death he left the Cincinnati Franchise to his son Mike Brown. To this day fans cant stand Mike Brown due to his incapability to sign big name players and even his refusal to upgrade the Bengals home "Paul Brown Stadium"
