Good Morning FHS Families and Students -

It has come to our attention that some of our messaging is not getting out to all families. We are trying this alternative method to ensure everyone gets information coming out of FHS. Next week are our midyear exams which does not follow a traditional school day schedule. Please see the smore below for additional information and contact your student's house VP if you have any additional questions!

Midyear exams will begin on Tuesday, January 17 and end on Friday, January 20. Students will take two 90 minute exams each day and be dismissed at 10:45 on January 17, January 18, and January 19. On January 20, students will have one exam and be dismissed at 9:00.

Please note that not all classes have a midyear exam. Some grades that are associated with a "midyear exam" are connected to projects and other presentations that they are either completing this week or turning in during exam week. Students have been made aware what will count towards that grade.

Students who have an excused absence will make up the exam on January 20 at 9:15. If a student has an excused absence for a second exam, that exam will be made up at 10:45am. Make up arrangements must be made with your teacher in advance. Transportation home is not provided after the make up exam.

There is a 10 minute break on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00-9:10. A bell will sound at 9:10 to walk to the 9:15 exam.
