Did you know that General William Campbell and Patrick Ferguson played an important part in the Revolutionary War. Patrick Ferguson was born on June 4, 1774. When he was born he was the second son of James Ferguson of Pitfour. Also, he was born in the city of Edinburgh, Scottland. When he began his military career he was in his teens and he was in formed by his uncle James Murrey. William Campbell was born in 1745, but he became a general because his dad was a general. When he was a kid he moved from California to South Carolina. Now you know about generals Patrick ferguson and William Campbell and how they played a good part in the war.

The British had 1,200 soldiers total, there were 290 men killed, 160 men wounded, and finally 668 men captured. There was 900 men on the Americans side, 29 men were killed, 58 wounded, and finally 0 were captured. Now you know about what went on during the battle of Kings Mountain.
