Letter from EEE Principal, Vickie Easley
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We have had a wonderful December at EEE! The students enjoyed a demonstration from the Discovery Kitchen chef, holiday dress-up days, 2nd grade family night, the Christmas party, Penguin Patch shopping, and Reading Around the Christmas Tree. Band students from the high school also joined in the holiday spirit and played Christmas carols for our students. While we had fun, academic learning still took place. I am thankful that teachers kept the students focused on learning. We also introduced our behavior matrix called THE HEART OF A YELLOWJACKET. The following explains what each letter means: H=Honesty, E=Effort, A=Accountable, R=Respect, and T=Team Player. The students are remembering the new vocabulary and working hard to meet the school-wide behavior expectations.
The students have made many memories this month and we thank you for allowing us to care for your child! What a privilege it is to teach students and every staff member understands the importance that it carries.
While December is fun, it is also a time for giving and helping those in need. Many of our staff members have reached out to others during the holiday season. It is a good time to reflect on love, forgiveness, peace, and family. I hope that each EEE family enjoys this holiday season.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours,
Mrs. Easley

HEART of a YellowJacket
We have been covering our behavior expectations in December and will continue through January. Ask your student what the H, E, A, R, and T stand for in "The HEART of a YellowJacket." Click the link below to see our behavior matrix.
