Math Updates:
We had a great planning session with the Primary Teams last week. We are looking forward to meeting with the Intermediate Teams this week.
Your Math SLO starts this week! We are excited to see what impact your SLO has on student growth. Please see the Math Team if you need anything. We are here to support you!
Reading Updates:
We really enjoyed the Writing Walkthrough. Teachers were referring to their anchor charts and focusing on specific conventions. Assignments were differentiated, and teachers were conferring with small groups or individual students. Thank you for having us in your classrooms! Feel free to use your writing time next week to complete any F&Ps that must be completed. We would like for these to be done & inputted by the end of next week if possible so that we can pull the data the following week to see if there are any errors. Remember that the data will be pulled first thing Thursday morning 2/28 so it must be finalized and checked by us in the system by the end of the day on Wed 2/27. Let us know how we can help you with this!
Social & Emotional Updates:
The students really enjoyed the Dance Party. Thank you for supporting our students who didn’t earn. Our next celebration will be recognizing perfect attendance for third marking period. If you have suggestions for how to recognize them, please let me know. Thanks for all you do every day!

Updates from Rodney:
- Please make sure that your Instructional Schedule matches what is on the Master Instructional Schedule for the school. I know that things change when we have a delay, early dismissal or field trips, but on a "normal" day, your schedule should reflect the Master Schedule. Please see the Master Schedule below!
- We do not have students sitting on the curb as a consequence during recess.
- Classroom floors should be clear of trash. Please have your students clear the floor before they leave. A clean classroom is an important part of a positive class community.
- Please update student work that reflects the month of February.
Writing Data - Glows and Grow
Glows:
- 12 classrooms were using anchor charts during writing.
- 10 classrooms were engaged in independent writing for 20-30 minutes
- 9 classrooms were conferring with students
Grow:
- 1 classroom was viewed bringing the workshop to an end and 8 were not. Going forward we want to make sure we close out the lesson properly.
Next week, our focus will be on Math!
