Dill originated in Southern Russia, Mediterranean, and Western Africa.

You can use the leaves, flowers, and seeds of a dill plant.

Dill helps protect against free radicals and carcinogens. It is an anti-bacterial spice, so it prevents bacterial overgrowth. It also is a good source of calcium, iron, and magnesium.

Interesting Facts

Dill was used a lot by Romans, and in Grecian wreaths. Old wives tales said inhaling the fumes from boiling dill water could cure hiccups, and ward off diseases.
