Good weather is here!! As a reminder, the safest way for a student to depart the building is on a school bus or via parent pick-up. Should you choose to allow your child to walk from school, please remind them of the importance of following all traffic laws as they walk from the building and be respectful of others' property. ATTENTION: 8th Graders Going to Cedar Point
At Cedar Point, We're Cashless!
Faster. Easier. Safer. The Best Way To Pay.
At Cedar Point, we want you to have an effortless time with your friends and family. That’s why we've moved to all cashless payments throughout the park. Simply swipe or tap your credit card, debit card or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay where you would normally use cash. It’s faster, safer and always secure.
No card? No problem! At our Cash-to-Card Kiosks, you can convert your cash into a prepaid debit card you can use anywhere – not just inside the park - with no fees. It’s easy and FREE!
What type of payments do Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores accept?
VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and most debit cards are accepted for payment. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay. The parks have multiple Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout to allow you to convert your cash to a prepaid card with no fee. Leftover funds can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.
Is there a fee to use the Cash-to-Card kiosk?
There are no fees to convert your cash to a prepaid card and no fees to use the card in or outside the park. As long as the card is used regularly, no monthly fees will apply. After 92 consecutive days of no transaction activity, however, a $3.95 fee will be charged each month.
How much cash can I load onto a prepaid card?
Up to $500 can be loaded on a card. Minimum amount is $5.
Can I reload the prepaid card from the Cash-to-Card kiosk?
Prepaid cards are not reloadable.
Where can I use the prepaid card from the Cash-to-Card kiosk?
Cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
How can I check the balance on my prepaid card?
The balance on the prepaid card can be checked at a Cash-to-Card kiosk, online at RCbalance.com or by calling the number found on the back of the card.
Why is the park going card-only or cashless?
By going cashless, we are able to conduct contact-less transactions, and it’s faster, safer and always secure.
What should I do if the Cash-to-Card kiosk takes my cash but does not dispense a card?
The kiosk will provide you with a receipt. Take the receipt to Guest Services near the Front Gate. The Guest Services team will work with the kiosk provider to verify the error and then load the funds onto a prepaid card.
